Hi Brandon: Good having you here. Pay no attetion to that man behind the curtain. Zimm explained that every new Drawger needs to pay EACH of the current Drawgers 25 bucks each, right? Just send via PayPal if that makes it easier for you! BS
Edel Rodriguez October 5, 2006
Welcome Brandon, nice work. Bob, I thought it was $50 bucks each? We had a meeting over in the E-Z about that. PayPal is the way to go Brandon. Thanks in advance!
Brandon Reese October 5, 2006
Bob and Edel- Thanks guys! Hmmm, that's odd. I was under the impression that each of you would be paying me to join. I'm sending Zimm a vehement letter right now!
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
Brandon, Pay no attention to those 2 "con" artists. They're the Drawger nights owls who will swindle you away fom your late night work with their sly and conniving messages. I'm telling you now, I'm the voice of reason and honesty!! Send your money to me-- One dollar a week till you're paid in full. Thanks Brandon and welcome!!
Edel Rodriguez October 5, 2006
Night Owls? Bob and I are here 24/7, looking out over Drawgerland while the great man Zimm gets his beauty sleep. He needs it, the man has some BIG plans in that old cranium.
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
OK, Edel, 24/7 Boy wonder...when do you get your beauty sleep?
Edel Rodriguez October 5, 2006
The Bus.
Laura Tallardy October 5, 2006
hi brandon! love your work- so cute!! welcome to drawger :)
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
Hi Laura- When do you get your beauty sleep? Edel- Ha Ha! I used to do the "bus thang" when I commuted from Summit, NJ into the city-- those were the days...
Edel Rodriguez October 5, 2006
ooooh.....Summit, faaaaancy...
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
So Edel. how often do you commute into the city? What's your schedule? Are you in the city at lunch time? Yes, Summit was high tone and I was a recent college grad/ starving illustrator.
Edel Rodriguez October 5, 2006
Jeff, we have a new member! Talk about his elephant and raccoon, they're cool. Hey, and is that an elephant chasing a huge peanut? cool!
Laura Tallardy October 5, 2006
hi jeff :) i enjoy sleeping on the weekends, even 8 or 9 hours sometimes! how about yourself? edit: love that raccoon! he's pretty stylin'.
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
Brandon, I'm sorry, we do start ramblin' sometimes, especially late at night. But Edel keeps us in line!! That Peanut is just about the coolest Peanut I've ever seen. What a nice digital style!! What programs are you using. I just had a couple handfuls of peanuts for a snack so I can still taste those crunchy little nuts- yumm!!
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
Laura- sleep? What's that? Back in my younger years we used to say, "All night" and by golly the sun was coming up. But, nowadaays I try to hit the sack before the birds start chirping. I'm not a morning person so if I'm up by mid morning, that's good enough for me. My wife takes all my beauty sleep--- that's why she's prettier than me.
Bob Staake October 5, 2006
This is the second time someone has mentioned this thing called "sleep". Someone needs to fill me in on what that is.
Bob Staake October 5, 2006
my problem is that when i go to sleep, i have these bizarre dreams of elephants chasing huge peanuts and it completely freaks me out. how about you, jeff? any weird dreams involving legumes?
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
Bob, funny you should ask -- but ever since my mother gave into my begging and bought me a jar of "Mr. Peanut" brand nuts, I discovered they were actually no better than the local generic store brand nuts. From that day on I've thought Mr. Peanut was a scam devised to trick little kids. The worst part of this entire sad story is, I've been haunted by a recurring nightmare. And in this nightmare a horrible, scary, giant Mr. Peanut chases after me. He keeps yelling, "I'm going to catch you and turn you into peanut butter." That's why I don't sleep.

Welcome, Brandon! Your raccoon is certainly a natty dresser! Particularly dig his shoes! I went to your site. Wonderful stuff! The textures and palettes, just lovely.
Linzie Hunter October 5, 2006
Hey Brandon Great to see you here, welcome.
Mike Moran October 5, 2006
Hi Brandon, I've seen your work before on the web and always thought it was great. I'm so glad your here now! Mike
JD King October 5, 2006
Welcome aboard! REAL nice work!
Leo Espinosa October 5, 2006
'morning everybod... wait... I take a break one night and there's somebody new at the breakfast table... I like that... welcome Brandon... what can I get for ya... we take our coffee black, here. I messed up last night adding two drops of milk and next think, I'm asleep on the keyboard. You should see how funny my face looks today. What can I get for your elephant? He's cute, man!
Steve Wacksman October 5, 2006
Hi Brandon- Glad to see you here; looking forward to seeing more. I won't shake you down for your lunch money like some of these other scoundrels, but if you're ever in Brooklyn, I will expect you to 'pay tribute' - usually 15% of gross receipts. It's just how we do business here- nothing personal. Love them critters- that hat-tipping raccoon looks right neighborly.
Edel Rodriguez October 5, 2006
Did Larry Ross just call me a LUNATIC FRINGE DRAWGER???!!!! Larry, you're like five minutes away man, I'm comin' over right now with a machete, some cans of fixative, and an animal trap, stuffing you in there and taking you out to the Pine Barrens. Nothing Looney about that, just business.
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
Hey Edel, I used to "hang" with Larry when I was living in Jersey so leave my ol' buddie alone or I sick the evil Mr. Peanut from my nightmares on you!!
Jeff Moores October 5, 2006
I think my mother would be proud that I'm an "industrious insomiac lunatic fringe drawger."
Robert Saunders October 5, 2006
Mother of god, these people posted their comments to you around the clock throughout the wee hours! That means they are really into your work! Anyhoo, glad you're here Brandon and wish you much fun in the Drawg-o-sphere.
Jim Paillot October 5, 2006
Hey Brandon, Good! I see you made it. Now that you have had a taste of what it's like to be part of this bunch you have 24 hours to pack up and move out if you wish. No refunds and you have to leave all of the cool texture masks and color palettes that you use. It'll be fun having you in our tribe.
